Q?Are you qualified?
A.

Yes. Accountable Options is a registered BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board. The Principal, Jeanette Thyer, is a registered BAS Agent with Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) and a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers which is a global organisation of bookkeepers. Jeanette is also a Certified MYOB Consultant.

Q?Where are you located?
A.

Accountable Options is located in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne, Victoria. However, location is not a barrier, as we have clients throughout Australia.

Q?Will you keep my information confidential?
A.

Accountable Options adopts a strong confidentiality policy. At the point of engagement we have a letter that clearly outlines both our role and yours, to ensure everyone is on the same page and knows clearly what is expected.

We will never share your information with anyone else unless you ask us too.

Q?How long will my work take?
A.

Clients come to us with various needs and as such there is no clear answer to this.
Often we are presented with a backlog of data, sometimes several years. In cases like this, your needs will be personally discussed and a plan will be developed to ensure we can process the backlog as efficiently as possible. However please be aware that this does take time.
Once files are up to date, ongoing work is completed by clients providing data on a regular basis. The data is processed quickly and efficiently to ensure all deadlines, such as BAS and IAS lodgements, are met.

Q?Is my data secure?
A.

All client data files are password protected and backed up each time they are used. We also have offsite backup for extra security.

Q?What software do you use?
A.

Accountable Options predominately uses MYOB software. We will discuss your needs to determine the best program for you, or work with your existing software where possible.
